Memoth is an AI-powered voice notes app that turns conversations into organized knowledge. Record meetings, lectures, calls, or quick thoughts and instantly get a full transcript, smart summary, action items, and speaker identification — all powered by AI.

Memoth offers a free tier that includes 10 min / month of cloud transcription — perfect for trying things out. For heavier use, the Pro plan unlocks 15 hrs / month with AI summaries, action items, and the WhatsApp voice bot. Pro Plus extends that to 40 hrs / month.

Memoth runs natively on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, with iCloud keeping everything in sync. Pro subscribers also get the WhatsApp voice bot — send a voice message from any phone and receive a transcript right in the chat.

Memoth transcribes in the cloud, not on your device. When you stop recording, your audio is uploaded over an encrypted connection, transcribed by our speech provider, and the transcript, summary, and action items stream straight back to your device. The audio is then kept only as an encrypted 30-day backup, so a recording lost from your device can be restored — delete the recording in the app and that backup goes with it.

Privacy is core to how Memoth works. Your recordings, transcripts, and summaries live on your device and in your own private iCloud — never in a Memoth database. Transcription runs in the cloud, so audio is uploaded to process it, then kept encrypted for up to 30 days as a backup so a recording lost from your device can be restored, and deleted automatically after that. Deleting a recording in the app erases that backup straight away. All transfers are encrypted, and your content is never sold or used to train AI models.

Partly. Everything already saved — your recordings, transcripts, and summaries — lives on your device, so you can record, play back, and browse with no connection at all. Transcription and AI summaries run in the cloud, so those need connectivity: record offline now, and Memoth processes it when you’re back online.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, select Memoth, and tap Cancel. You’ll keep full access until the end of your current billing period.

The Memoth WhatsApp bot lets you send a voice message to a dedicated number and receive a full transcript, summary, and action items right back in the chat — no app needed. It’s available on Pro and Pro Plus plans. Link your WhatsApp number from the Memoth app settings to get started.
