Compare every Memoth plan
Guest mode needs no account at all. Pro and Pro Plus unlock exactly the same features — the only thing that changes is how many hours of audio Memoth transcribes for you each month.

Prices are in USD and billed through the App Store; the local equivalent may vary by region. A weekly option is also available — $2.99/week for Pro and $5.99/week for Pro Plus. Recording allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month (UTC).
What a monthly limit actually buys you
Memoth measures your plan in the length of the audio it transcribes, not in the number of notes you keep. Here is roughly what each allowance covers.
Free — 10 minutes a month
Enough for a couple of short voice memos, or one quick stand-up. It is sized to let you see what the transcripts and summaries actually look like on your own audio before you decide to pay.
Pro — 15 hours a month
Roughly fifteen hour-long meetings, thirty half-hour calls, or ten 90-minute lectures — about three to four hours of recorded conversation a week. This fits most people who record their own meetings rather than every meeting in the building.
Pro Plus — 40 hours a month
Roughly forty hour-long meetings, or about two hours of recording every working day. This is the plan for people who are on calls back to back and want every one of them captured.
These are estimates based on typical meeting lengths, not guarantees — a two-hour workshop consumes two hours of your allowance however you slice it. Imported audio and voice messages forwarded to the WhatsApp bot draw from the same monthly pool.
Memoth pricing questions
Does Memoth have a free plan?
Yes. Memoth has a free plan with 10 minutes of recording per month.
Can I try Memoth without creating an account?
Yes. Guest mode lets you make one recording of up to 3 minutes with full AI transcription, with no sign-up and no credit card. To keep recording past that you create a free account, which raises the allowance to 10 minutes per month.
How much is Memoth Pro?
Memoth Pro is $9.99 per month or $89.99 per year and includes the full feature set with a 15-hour monthly recording limit.
How much is Memoth Pro Plus?
Memoth Pro Plus is $24.99 per month or $189.99 per year and includes the same features as Pro with a 40-hour monthly recording limit.
What is the difference between Pro and Pro Plus?
Pro and Pro Plus unlock the same Memoth features. The difference is the monthly recording limit: Pro includes 15 hours per month, while Pro Plus includes 40 hours per month.
Is there a weekly billing option?
Yes. Pro is $2.99 per week and Pro Plus is $5.99 per week, alongside the monthly and annual options. Every billing period unlocks the same features and the same monthly recording allowance, so the only difference is how often you are charged. Annual works out cheapest per month; weekly is the cheapest way to start.
What counts toward my monthly recording limit?
The limit is measured in the length of audio Memoth transcribes for you, whether recorded in the app or imported. Voice messages sent to the Memoth WhatsApp bot count toward the same allowance. Playing back, searching, and editing notes you already have never counts against it.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
Memoth stops starting new AI transcriptions until your allowance resets or you upgrade. A recording that would run past your remaining allowance is not started either, rather than being cut off part-way. Everything already in your library stays available, and recording, playback, and browsing saved notes keep working even without a connection.
Does unused recording time roll over to the next month?
No. Your allowance is granted per calendar month and resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). Unused minutes or hours do not carry over.
Can I switch plans in the middle of a billing cycle?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time from inside the app through the App Store. When an upgrade is processed, the recording time you already used that month is retired, so your new plan's full allowance is available immediately rather than starting out partly spent. Downgrades and cancellations are handled by the App Store and take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your paid features until then.
Is one subscription valid on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch?
Yes. Memoth ships as a Universal Purchase, so a single subscription bought on any Apple device covers the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch apps, plus the WhatsApp bot. It is tied to your Apple ID — sign in with the same Apple ID on another device and your plan is already active there.
What happens to my recordings if I cancel or downgrade?
You keep them. Your recordings, transcripts, summaries, and action items live on your devices and sync through your own iCloud account, which we cannot access, so cancelling or downgrading deletes nothing you have already made — it only changes how much new audio Memoth transcribes for you each month. The encrypted 30-day backup of recently processed audio runs on the same schedule for every plan and is not shortened by a plan change.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep paid features until it ends. Note that deleting your Memoth account does not cancel the App Store subscription — cancel it separately in Apple's settings.
Do you offer refunds?
Memoth does not process payments directly. All billing, refunds, and payment disputes for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple's Report a Problem page at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How am I billed, and do prices change by country?
Subscriptions are billed through the App Store and managed with your Apple ID. Prices are listed in USD and the local equivalent may vary by region. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
What happens to my audio after it is transcribed?
Audio is uploaded over an encrypted connection, transcribed and analyzed, and the results are streamed back and saved on your device. The uploaded copy is then kept only as an encrypted 30-day backup, so a recording lost from your device can be restored, and is deleted automatically after that. Deleting a recording in the app erases that backup straight away, and our AI providers are contractually prohibited from training on your content.
