Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Memoth account directly from the app. This will remove your account and all associated data from our servers.

What gets deleted

  • Your Memoth account and profile
  • All recordings, transcripts, and summaries stored on your device
  • All action items and folders
  • Your WhatsApp bot connection (if linked)
  • Usage history and preferences

How to delete your account

From the iOS or iPad app

  1. Open Memoth on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap the Settings tab (gear icon in the bottom navigation bar).
  3. Scroll down to the General section.
  4. Tap Delete Account (in red, below Sign Out).
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear. If you have an active subscription, you will be prompted to cancel it in the App Store first.
  6. Tap Delete Account to confirm. Your account will be permanently deleted.

From the Mac app

  1. Open Memoth on your Mac.
  2. Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to the General section.
  4. Click Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

Important notes

  • This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • Active subscriptions are not automatically cancelled. If you have a Memoth Pro or Pro Plus subscription, you must cancel it separately through the App Store subscription settings to avoid further charges.
  • iCloud data: Since Memoth stores recordings in your private iCloud, deleting your account removes the local copy. Any data synced to iCloud may be managed through your Apple ID settings.
